The Float Stream multipurpose close-cutting headers provide cutting grain crops, cereal crops, grain legumes, and flax at a height from 3 to 14 cm. The minimum distance from the field surface to the cutting elements of the header allows harvesting beaten down plants, as well as soy or chick-pea having first beans low position very efficiently. Due to the mechanism of contour following the Float Stream machine eliminates the problem of grain damage. The ergonomic bottom consisting of a series of spring-loaded plates responds to any change of the terrain, and the special-purpose electronic sensors transfer relevant data to a combine equipped with an electrical-and-hydraulic contour following system (CFS).
Wide model range (5, 6, 7, or 9 meters) allows selecting the optimum header meeting your combine requirements or depending on the field width. To provide careful gathering of the stalks of beaten down, matted, or beaten down by hail cereals and grain legume crops it is recommended to use the ZhSU 701.00.07.100 set of stalk gatherers being supplied on separate order.
The distinctive feature of soy combine harvesting is the necessity of its close cutting on humid and soft soil. The Float Stream header perfectly copes with that task due to its supporting shoes set throughout the header bottom, its floating knife, and its two contour following mechanisms installed on the header body and on the cutterbar unit. When harvesting soybean they operate simultaneously.
When harvesting grain crops, cereal crops, and grain legumes it is possible to operate applying “fixed knife” procedure consisting in contour following with the header body being performed without involving the cutterbar unit.
The header is designed for being ganged up with Rostselmash's Vector, Acros, Torum.
