Grain harvesting
The header is used for harvesting grain crops and cereal crops applying fixed knife procedure. In this case field contour following is performed due to the contour following system and supporting shoes installed on the header body.
Grain legumes harvesting
The cutterbar unit of the Float Stream machine being in the mode of using the floating knife is able to perform close cutting at a height of up to 30 mm from the surface applying contour following, which allows picking even the lowest beans. Besides, the automatic contour following mode allows changing the position of the crop feed elevator for the purpose of providing necessary cutting height and reducing the load on the bar.
Wide range of contour following ways
The Float Stream cutterbar with a floating knife set on spring-loaded levers is able to move 130 mm downwards and upwards following the field contour. Contour following is performed by the slides (runners) fixed under the bar of the cutterbar unit.
Maintainability
There are high-maintainability plastic fingers installed on the header, which do not damage the cutterbar unit in case of their accidental coming off and getting under the knife.
Minimum cutting height
Due to the availability of the supporting shoes set throughout the bottom of the header, the floating knife, and the contour following system the problem of close cutting at a height of 30 mm is eliminated.
Damage protection
The oversized stone deflectors with a “skirt” prevent stones from getting on the machine tools, as well as prevent the area of the cutterbar unit and the contour-following bottom from being blocked.
Long operating life
Slack-free joint of the fulcrum lever eliminates inertial vibrations originating from the reducer, which extends the operating life of the cutterbar unit. -
