The set of equipment for harvesting sunflower consists of three parts, which can be supplied assembled or by different units at customer’s option:
- set of table back plates for harvesting tall-growth sunflower with minimum losses;
- set of catchers installed on the hood of the sunflower head;
- • set of cutter bars with active rotating knives and cutting protection devices.
At the same time for harvesting sunflower on large areas we suggest using the purpose-designed "Falcon" sunflower heads.

Protective shields installation. Protective shields are necessary for preventing falling cut stalks with heads over the head hood.
Installation of catchers on the hoods.
Installation of cutter bars. To install cutter bars on the head passages it is necessary to remove the PPK-81.01.06.422A fixed plate and the PPK-81.01.06.433A stabilizer previously removing the feed chain and tensioning device 1
Chain tensioning device. By using the same bolt-type fastening kit, install the PPK-81.33.01.010 or the PPK-81.33.01.010-01 cutter bar, and the PPK-81.33.01.406 stabilizer instead of the above mentioned devices. Install tensioning device 1 (Figure 4) and the feed chain putting it on the cutter bar chain wheel.
