The GRASS HEADER
rotary header integrated with a forage harvester is designed for cutting
cultivated and natural herbage used in livestock breeding as forage. Due to
high rotor speed of up to 3150 rpm, the header performs harvesting not causing
damage to roots of the crop cut, with speed of up to 10 km/h that increases the
throughput and probability of fair yield during the next mowing. The header is
applied in all plain land use zones in fields with subdued relief.

High quality hay
Curved design knives throw the beveled mass up and back in the direction of the cutting bar movement. When mowing high-yielding grasses at high speeds, there is no congestion in front of the beam, and the root system is not damaged, which allows you to get higher yields during the next mowing.
Increased rate working
The special design of the cutting bar rotor plates and curved knives ensures fast and efficient removal of the mown mass from the cutting area. This allows you to save power consumption and operate at higher speeds.
Overloadproof of every rotor
When hitting obstacles (hydrants, poles, etc.), the cutting bar is protected from damage by shear safety elements located on each rotor. The remaining elements of the header remain unharmed. To continue working, just change the shear support.
Working with increased cutting height
Thanks to optional slipper heads, the cutting height can be increased to 74mm.
Easy servicing
The header's lift-up canvas provides simple and easy access to the cutter bar. This significantly reduces maintenance time and does not require the use of special equipment and tools.
Adaptability to yields
Thanks to the ability changing the auger rotation speed, the Grass Header 600 can be adjusted to different types of crops and yields.
Usability
The headers can optionally be equipped with a one-shot lubricating system, which can significantly increase convenience and reduce maintenance time.
Damage Protection
Protective friction clutches are installed on the drive cardan shafts, which protect the header transmission and the drive mechanism of the combine in the event of excessive loads in emergency situations. This significantly reduces downtime and cut down the financial costs of repairs. -
