Due to special design, the knives throw the mowed mass upwards and backwards along the moving of cutting beam. Long-term service life
When hitting serious obstacles (e.g. hydrants, poles) unseen in grass, the shear protective elements placed on each rotor are saving the cutting beam from critical damage. This prevents the failure of the other elements of the cutter bar. There is no need to disassemble and change all the toothed heels of the cutter bar, it`s enough to change the shear support and the mower is ready to work.
Protection from obstacles
When hitting an obstacle, the towing safety device is activated preventing destruction of cutting beam. In order to continue operation, it is required to move back and replace only the cutting element.
Option: disc plate with three knives.
Discs with three knives (optionally supplied for Strige 2,4) rotating in opposite direction to each other provide greater overlap on each disk in comparison with discs with two knives. That means:
- 30% reducing load on the rotor discs;
- Fuel savings;
- The uniformity of the process of mowing;
- guarantee of clean cut of stubble in any weather, including wet conditions
